Manarat uses McGraw-Hill publishers from KG1 through Grade 7. The curriculum is implemented in a safe, comfortable, and flexible setting with an emphasis on activity-based learning. Children will explore, inquire and discover solutions with hands-on, minds-on and hearts-on activities. The full-day program maintains small class sizes so teachers can provide students with individualized instruction and attention, allowing them to grow and learn at their own pace.
The curriculum design embraces a holistic approach, incorporating specific developmental areas in varying degrees. These areas include: Cognitive, Communication, Social-Emotional and Physical.
For our Nursery and Kindergarten levels, these developmental areas are further divided into educational areas which are: language, learning concepts, science & environment, expression, health, islamic studies, human relationships & social skills and culture & tradition. Our Nursery and Kindergarten levels are exposed to a variety of different types of learning through circle time, library, toys, games, arts & crafts, music, science, computers, blocks, sand & water, kitchen corner, and indoor and outdoor playground activities.
The Elementary and Middle school levels also enjoy learning in the same type of setting; but with more structured lessons that will facilitate their level of development and learning processes. They will be graded on performance although each child's individual needs will still be met.
